1. Aakar 2025 Traditional Crafts and Arts Training Camp

Aakar - 2025" Traditional Crafts and Arts Training Camp (From May 15 to May 31, 2025) The "Aakar - 2025" Traditional Arts and Craft training Camp, organized annually by the Department of Culture and Languages, Government of Chhattisgarh, will be held this year as well, with the objective of preserving, promoting, raising awareness, and generating interest in traditional crafts and arts. The camp will take place from May 15 to May 31, 2025, in two shifts: Morning from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and Evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum Campus, Civil Lines, Raipur. Interested trainees will receive training from renowned and expert art gurus in several disciplines such as: Fine Art, Drama, Sketching, Canvas Painting, Jute Craft, Mehndi Art, Godna (Tattoo) Art, Chhattisgarhi Jewelry and Tribal Wooden Art, Bharathari, Nacha and Folk Dance-Songs, Tribal Dance and Songs, Sand Art, Rice Jewelry and Dry Flower Art, Dhokra Craft, Musical Instrument Training and Making, Terracotta, and Chhattisgarhi Cuisine. The registration fee shall be Rs. 200/-, which can be submitted at the Aakar Training Office 2025. Post submission of fees the training ID card shall be provided. Special concessions will be given to differently-abled and orphaned children.
